Service Agreement

Please complete the service agreement below. 

SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of submission date, by and between:

Service Provider: One Drawer at a Time Organizing, a Professional Organizing business located in Crest Hill, IL, ("Provider"), and

Client as stated above, residing at Service address as stated above, ("Client").

1. SERVICES PROVIDED Provider agrees to perform the following services for Client:

  • Organizing

  • Decluttering

  • Packing / unpacking

  • Hauling away of donations (one car full per session)

  • Shopping time for containers as needed

2. PAYMENT TERMS Client agrees to compensate Provider as follows:

  • Total Fee: $75 per hour per organizer

  • Payment Deposit: 4 hours per agreed number of organizers. Deposit link will be sent to Client and must be completed within 24 hours. Deposit will reserved Client's service date.

  • Payment Balance: Final invoice will be sent via email 24 hours after service and must be paid within 24 hours. This will include remaining hours worked after deposit and reimbursement for containers/supplies.

  • Payment Method: Payment can be made by Zelle, Venmo, check or, major credit or debit card.

3. TERM AND TERMINATION This Agreement shall commence on signed date by Client and continue until the completion of services unless earlier terminated by either party with 24 hours written notice.

4. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  • Client may cancel services with 48 hours notice for a 50% refund of deposit.

  • Provider reserves the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances with a full refund to Client.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTIES

Provider Responsibilities:

  • Perform all agreed-upon services in a professional, timely, and efficient manner following industry best practices.

  • Communicate clearly with the Client regarding service details, scheduling, and any necessary adjustments.

  • Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials used are in good condition and appropriate for the services provided.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information shared by the Client during the service period.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and necessary information regarding the scope of work before services begin.

  • Ensure that the service area is accessible at the scheduled time to allow the Provider to perform the agreed-upon work.

  • Promptly communicate any concerns, special requests, or modifications to the service plan.

  • Make payments according to the agreed-upon terms and adhere to cancellation policies.

6. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

  • Provider shall not be liable for damages resulting from Client’s failure to follow recommendations or misuse of services.

  • Client agrees to indemnify Provider against any claims arising from the services rendered.

7. CONFIDENTIALITY Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive information exchanged during the service period.

8. PHOTOS AND MARKETING Client acknowledges and agrees that Provider may take before and after photographs of the serviced spaces. These photographs may be used for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials. Provider will ensure that no personal information, such as Client’s name or address, will be included in any marketing materials.

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Illinois.

10. GOVERNING LAW This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings.
